I drove a badly tuned tdo4 converted xud the other day and it still went quite well, improves the car no end and would make over taking much much easier.

Going from my stage 2 hdi to my standard xud makes me cry lol it's painfully crap haha I can't wait to stick my blower on Smile

Exactly, nail and head spring to mind.

How many cars do you know that you can double stock power for £200? Less if you strike it lucky with a Bosch and make adapter plates and lines yourself, TD04's can be found for £50 now.

And with the use of the LDA/governor settings you can effectively "map" them yourself. As Dan said though, even a monkey strapping a big blower on can get good gains without even knowing how to tune the pump.

Oh and Mark's had his on for what, three years? And it's still running sweet. Apart from the orange engine bay...

lmao

Yeah that's a good idea. A nice £600 turbo with no actuator or mounting hardware that's completely chronic...

Done a few more things to the car today, new black ph3 interior panels, new gti6 wheel, fitted my sub and components, but.... As good as it handles with the suspension and the gti6 beam, I'm just not feeling it, so I'm thinking about selling it, any one interested?
