Just a wee warning to all you lot experimenting with long exposures, its better when its cold out. If it's a hot night and you take an exposure for 15min + lengths, it the heat generated by the camera can damage the sensor if your taking lots of shots. Just a word of advice

The on board noise reduction works well on mine and christ they were bad without!!

My sparklers are wire wool Wink

And I know the sensor damage from heat problem hence the warning to Dan further up but I do agree its worth mentioning! Smile

As usual nothing edited, just white balance saturation etc when converting from RAW, oh a 7 stacked photos for the star trail (which needs the light in the bottom right editing out!

Really like them mark, the barn ones are great Smile Tried a star trail the other night and had the aperture at f/8.0 :facepalm: result = completely black photo lol

OK further to Phills request, this is my mates classic Mini which she calls frank, she fully restored it from a bare shell and its awesome, as I said in my previous post I am not totally happy with these pics as I have done no noise reduction on them yet and Flickers compression had made them much worse lol in time they will be replaced by better versions, anyway enjoy -

***they were pissing me off too much, I have deleted them from flickr and replaced with versions that don't make your eyes hurt when viewing them which I am much happier with (see new post)***

Be better with a spot of noise reduction though lol I hate the amount of sensor noise in that pic!

In fact 1, 3, 4, & 6 are all tragic in their current states IMO
