Gotta say, I preferred the wheels on the estate man, something not quite right about them for me... That said, coming along nicely tho!

Maybe, but there's a cab up here on 9.5's all round Wink

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 26-12-2012

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - silverzx - 26-12-2012

Don't like the spoiler. Sad

Bosch + TD04 was a good buy though especially at the price it was!

It's still being built but he's a pal a few miles down the road, he was asking for tyre advice. There's paintwork involved too though and i'm not allowed to know what his plans are.. yet..

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Matt - 26-12-2012

Sure there was a 306 with 9j keskins all round. Can't remember who though

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - sam - 26-12-2012

White phase one on .net has 9j keskins alround

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Matt - 26-12-2012

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - 306GT30 - 27-12-2012

I think its the same that ive ordered, but still not sure

I do like it though!

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Pete - 28-12-2012

Looks awesome. Brocks look much more at home on this than they did on the Estate IMO.

Fiddy?

Mmhmm, you know him?

Latest i've heard is he's looking for matte lacquer, he still won't tell me what he's up to!

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Pete - 28-12-2012

Only in forum-interweb-land lol, Yeah he's on another forum I'm on (RRF) Keeps giving sneek-peeks but keeping plans quite!

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - cwspellowe - 28-12-2012

Ah i've not logged onto RRF in ages, there's him and Nick stays in Bailieston that was building the brown FG mini based kitcar.

Sorry Dan, i'll keep the spam out of here lol

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 28-12-2012

Needs a ph2.5 or ph3 rear bumper Big Grin

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 31-12-2012

Wiggy still has them, the 1st pic was just one when he had it. I bought it with Harriers on.

Ph3 rear bumper will be on when I paint it Smile

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - puglove - 31-12-2012

ooooo i see. all in hand then

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 31-12-2012

Oh yes Smile

I'll get round to fitting the td04 one day aswell.

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - puglove - 31-12-2012

almost got my 80k lump out now, seriously debating a nice 25psi td04 whilst its out :/

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 31-12-2012

Be rude not to Smile

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - puglove - 31-12-2012

Need to find some one local thats TD04'd to see if its worth it agenst a 22psi t2

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - cwspellowe - 31-12-2012

100% definitely worth it fella, bigger blowers are a totally different ball game to T2's.

My 10 minutes of GT-dom were enough to highlight that. And Mark_Fairy's TD04'd ph2 sounded like a jet engine <3

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - puglove - 31-12-2012

Look chris im not taking any advise what so ever from you when it comes to turbos Tongue lmao

Na but seriously im not looking for big power out my xud (thats what the gti's for) im building a crouiser this time, but i want somthing that will blast from 60-100 on the motorway with a shit load of touque, ya know incase of an emergency of course, not to fussed about the B road blaster sort of power

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - Birk - 31-12-2012

But for the sake of a couple hundred quid, you can double your power.

I drove a badly tuned tdo4 converted xud the other day and it still went quite well, improves the car no end and would make over taking much much easier.

Going from my stage 2 hdi to my standard xud makes me cry lol it's painfully crap haha I can't wait to stick my blower on Smile

RE: Birks dturbo project, lows all round - ozonehostile - 31-12-2012

im loving the smoothed bootlid mate, looks real good Smile
