RE: 306 d-turbo - damn hoes. I mean hoses. - Iaitoo - 17-04-2016

Removed the tow bar and the spare wheel carriertraything today. So much rust! I think they tray would have fallen off soon anyways Tongue

Here is the bit holding it on. Lots of it gone!

Some weight saved. Not going to tow anything. Had to tow a m8s audi a4 ones, and I don't want to do that again Tongue Gone it is!

Did the audi TT filter mod today, and also changed the leak offs. Not sure if either the housing or the leak offs were leaking. But better safe than sorry Smile Leak offs were really hard. Had to split them open with a stanley knife to get them off. Don't need the car for a few days, so going to to some other little stuff as well. Like changing the battery connectors etc. They are very rusty.

It's off! Could turn the mounts by hand. Wheels were fully leaned in to the inner arch. Brake pipes like crackers. Plan is to rust treat it under. Remove all loose rust, paint with hammerite and then some thick tar on top, or should I do it differently?
