I'm staying out of the "French vs. VAG" arguement, i i quite like the look of some VAG's, but have never driven any, so don't want to make judgements. Apart from my Micra (complete shed!), and one or two work vans, all i've ever driven are French motors.

Some people are narrow minded when it comes to VAG, I think you just need to see the larger picture and stop judging a car because of it's stereotype.
