Frosty's Ph1 Black D Turbo - Frosty - 20-12-2012

So the plan is to have the body work sorted out in the new year hopefully in January. I got a few more days to take off as holiday and got my overtime to use against the body work so should be happy days. So I haven't touched the car really since I took It off the road apart from starting it up every now and then though I have been buying a few bits ready to go on when I get round to it.

I got a twin pass intercooler

Gov modded part

Grounded LDA pin

Braided brake lines
[Image: d310ef6f.jpg]

Set of challengers. Tried them out on my S16 when I got them
[Image: 6145339F-603E-4C15-8B07-E7B7B42223CB-377...B5F176.jpg]

Also got another set of cyclones that I plan to referb in gunmetal grey. Also got some wind deflector, Gti6 front brakes and master cylinder. I have prob forgot some of the things that I have already got. So the bits I will be getting in the new year will be FMIC pipping, slim line fans, xantia inlet manifold, radiator and a few other bits and bobs. I hope to be able to give you some good updates in the new year!

I liked the front bumper but everyone will have an opinion on it and I think it did look better in real life I would say. I think I am going to just get a standard 1 sprayed up and poss make up another but will see. What do you think of the rear bumper?

Im not a fan of the rear bumper tbh. Corners look a bit stuck on and on their own.

Frosty's Ph1 Black D Turbo - Frosty - 21-12-2012

Each to there own I suppose. I think it just makes it different to others. I like it but it needs a bit of work so i be putting a standard 1 on

RE: Frosty's Ph1 Black D Turbo - Frosty - 20-02-2013

Still no work has happened on this car but i went to see Sam on Sunday and i picked up some bits to go on this. I got the intercooler set up, front bumper, slam pannel, radiator and gear rods. I am tempted by his lime green bonnet but i duno wether to get it or not. I will get some pics of the bits on the weekend.

As i have got the whole intercooler set up i think the twin pass plan is out the window now. I can't wait to get cracking on with fitting the intercooler

RE: Frosty's Ph1 Black D Turbo - sam - 20-02-2013

RE: Frosty's Ph1 Black D Turbo - sam - 21-02-2013

So the plan is to take it off the road at the end of the mouth for a bit of TLC. The plans for when it's off the road are:

Get the roof sorted as its got rust coming through and the paints fading

Gets some bumpers sorted and some better condition side skirts

FMIC going to get a twin pass 1 and all the bits needed like slim line fans etc

Fit 11mm modded pump with LDA pin and gov mod

Do the cam belt and water pump while I do the fuel pump

Get some challengers and hubcentirc spacers

GTI6 front brakes.

That's most of the plans but I'm sure there are lots of other little bits I will do.

Here are a few more pics

The bumpers have seemed to get a lot of disliking on here, but its each to there own i suppose. Plus when it goes back on the road it will ahve standard bumpers back on. I got a colour coded ph3 for the rear and i got the 1 Sam had on his to go on the front that i will hopefully get colour coded to matc the rest of the car.

The boots are defo a good upgrade tbh but me and my mate put 1 on his last night and the wiring was all different but when i put mine on all the wires were ok and just plugged in

Thats fair enough. I will let you know on the weekend. I might be going to the weston meet on Sunday so could pop over after that if i do decide to have some more bits off you.

Any luck with the pics?
