Could it be a faulty seal on your slave cylinder?

306s are all cable operated, no slave cylinder. Smile


Does your coolant level drop? If so check around the stat housing and temp sensor for leaks, coolant could be leaking onto the clutch...

Yeah coolant does drop but I'm having a nightmare locating leak
