That one which is £50 is there new range, they used to do them in SS for £100.. Tbh that's the cheapest i've seen a straight fit decat pipe for a HDi though

Longlife did mine in stainless, with a lifetime guarantee, for £80 IIRC. And I sold my pattern (read:worthless) cat for a tenner too.

That one for £50 looks horrible.

Even the expensive one looks a bit crap.

How hard is it to just make a pattern of bends, mark up your pipe, and then make a whole batch with a mandrel bender in a decent bore size?

My 2p, find a GTi6/2.0i/1.8 16v downpipe and use that... they have the same flange to mate up with the turbo, and they are large bore and super smooth!

Shhhhh! ninja

Heh Dave speaks truth, if i had my own welder i'd be doing this already, someone's got to want that there gap in the market..?

A decent mild steel de-cat section that is super smooth and large bore would help with things, especially on a higher powered stage 2 or stage 3 tuning set up!

Any little kink or constriction is gonna cost you power...
