Cheers for that Ed Smile makes me laugh you can hear us better than the car.

Surprising how quiet it sounds on there, it's really not though lol

RE: Project Babyliss - Fozzy - 16-10-2013

Well its not quiet anymore not with the massive hole in the exhaust.......

RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 22-10-2013

Haha, this is very true. Although it really never was... I think New Forest was to blame for the exhaust

RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 04-11-2013

Been out and had a little play tonight... Unfortunately the pics really show the imperfections on the front end, even more than the eye can see. I think it'd look a lot better with a proper clean (it's really not) and mop, which I may run over it tomorrow.

Anyway:

So, I tried the mop on my ruined front bumper today. I wasn't expecting much to be honest as I knew how bad it was, however...

This is as it started, peeling, chips and the outline from the original plate:

Then this is just a patch which I'd done:

Half and half:

I flatted back parts as it was so bad:

Finished and waxed:

Then as a few have seen, I bought these...

lol

More of me pratting about in the dark to come in a sec

Here's some more, as per usual, none are Photoshopped. So much better after the mop!

Hahaha exactly what I thought!

Now i've seen it with the eyes, I can't help but think it looks chronically mashed without them... lol

Front end looks so much better for the tidy up, almost makes me wish I could be bothered to do stuff like that. Don't think it's going to happen though somehow...

RE: Project Babyliss - 306Dan - 06-11-2013

You need to shop photo 3 to have the eyes and the Afro

Missed this post somehow... I suppose it does lol. It's basically the result of what happens when I don't plan what I'm going to do before I light the sparkler. Cue me flailing my arms around

lol only you Alex! Haha, you should give it a go. You can do stuff you never thought possible with the right supplies... That's kinda what I'm like now I know I have to do the whole car...

It is pretty amazing, and got rather a lot of attention on Facebook after British drift Championships found and re-posted it... Currently 4,240 likes and 312 shares lol

Cheers Tom, as with everything I just make it up as I go haha. Well it's pretty cheap to pick up a rotary and easy enough. It's the pads and compounds that add up!
