RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 08-04-2013 Well I'm thinking about having a get together this coming weekend? I have a load to get done on this for Brighton etc, so could all bring the cars, have a laugh, then maybe pub/pizza hut? I'll sort something out on Facebook RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 08-04-2013 Sounds like a plan, I'm off on Saturday although I think Niall Scott Sam etc are going to chicksands this weekend RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 08-04-2013 Ah awesome . Oh really? What's that for then? I'll get an event up later anyway, see who can make it. Back to work now sign RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 08-04-2013 Chicksands for biking awesome mate well if the car passes mot you know I'll be there RE: Project Babyliss - Niall - 08-04-2013 All dependant on weather. Its not looking good for this weekend and its supposed to be a right bastard to ride in the rain! RE: Project Babyliss - Seid' - 08-04-2013 LIKEE but that needs moar sterch on front! I'm not stretching them more though! They're brand new, and perfect size IMO Some pictures from today: RE: Project Babyliss - Fozzy - 08-04-2013 The Front end looks 10 times better now, side numberplate helps a lot imo. Is it just the angle of the photo or do you need to adjust the front drivers side camber. (photo 5) RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 08-04-2013 Oh yeah, it's completely transformed! I love it to bits. Nah there's a horrendous amount of camber on that wheel haha... It's been like is since I got it, been tempted to try and DIY it to stop it scrubbing the inside out so much but got told off as I'll "make everything else worse" on Nutz. I'm still tempted... I need to get the full alignment done but it's at least £100 and in Dorking. RE: Project Babyliss - Seid' - 09-04-2013 you know the rectangular headlights? think its put that front 100x better like this: RE: Project Babyliss - Grant - 09-04-2013 (08-04-2013, 03:32 PM)Niall Wrote: All dependant on weather. Its not looking good for this weekend and its supposed to be a right bastard to ride in the rain! Other way round mate, its sand so you get more grip in the rain. Its just a case of how wet your willing to get. Truth be told, I'm more of a fair weather rider! RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 09-04-2013 Looking awesome, please knock up some teeth and a tougne for it, I always look at it and see the front end as a face, even more so now RE: Project Babyliss - C.A.R. - 09-04-2013 Rectangular headlights are bloody expensive unless you make them yourself. The kits are stupid money! Do look good though... Thought about de-tango-ing the front end? Clear repeaters and reflectors? RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 09-04-2013 Matt, just no. I may get a joke tongue for shows just for you Low-profiles do look good, but yeah they're too expensive for me at the moment. Maybe if a bargain pops up, but it's unlikely with these! Haha, yeah, I was on eBay last night hunting! I'm thinking either clear or smoked ones... But founds don't allow currently, just had a large shinies purchase RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 09-04-2013 Got one adapter made and mirror test fitted today: I don't like it. Can't see shit! ...and it needs another decat. RE: Project Babyliss - Niall - 09-04-2013 Not a fan of the mirrors at all! Would a decat involve flooring it up the road? RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 09-04-2013 No decat involves bashing the shit out of it with a big pole.... And cut I'm gunna make them, and stick them on on Saturday! Just you watch haha RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 09-04-2013 Well I don't think my uncle would be too impressed with either of those Hahaha, do it! I may even put it on at Incarnation if you find something RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 09-04-2013 Haha nah he won't be pleased, plus your car will get red on it. Hmm I need a sheet of steel and some white paint haha RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 09-04-2013 Haha, the tongue should be easy! Forget the teeth RE: Project Babyliss - Matt - 09-04-2013 Nah it needs teeth, and a bloody mangled arm hanging out haha RE: Project Babyliss - Niall - 09-04-2013 Could make a stuffed tongue to clip on about 2ft long lol RE: Project Babyliss - Fozzy - 09-04-2013 Mirrors that you can't see from really aren't good. So is that you don't like them because you can't see or do you not like the appearance? RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 09-04-2013 (09-04-2013, 07:13 PM)Niall Wrote: Could make a stuffed tongue to clip on about 2ft long lol Haha this is my thoughts (09-04-2013, 07:51 PM)Fozzy Wrote: Mirrors that you can't see from really aren't good. So is that you don't like them because you can't see or do you not like the appearance? Not ideal really! As that's the point... Erm I think I liked how it looked, but was in two minds. When I tried to see out of it, it made my mind up! RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 14-04-2013 Me and John foamectomy'd my seat yesterday, took like 10 minutes and what a difference! So much more supportive and bucket-like More exciting update to come tomorrow. RE: Project Babyliss - Ed Doe - 14-04-2013 Btw Curt, I'm just fettling it and it should be ready tomorrow evening you know what I'm talking about!! RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 14-04-2013 AMAZING! RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 15-04-2013 Delivery! Driftworks... ... they care like bears. Hopefully get them on tomorrow after work. Also been collecting audio for the last couple of weeks: I know it's against the "ethos" of the car but I like my music too much. Once the turbo's on it'll make up for it! RE: Project Babyliss - Fozzy - 15-04-2013 oooooooooo, this is going to look smart, and sound it of course. Just hope your exhaust doesn't over power it haha RE: Project Babyliss - Curt - 15-04-2013 Yeah, hopefully! It over powers most haha, hoping that the silent coat makes a difference... |
