It has come now to sell my 306, I have spent a lot of time and money on her. This car is not perfect by all means.
Bad points first.
Lacquer on roof has almost gone
Carpet isn't great the last owner had split white paint just behind the drivers seat i have tried to clean it isn't to bad now.
Passenger CV boot slightly leaking
Passenger door card ain't great
Passenger electric window switch doesn't work (window still works with drivers side switch.
Key has no bits in it for the remote central locking.
Has a fair few miles 200k
Good points
Engine was rebuilt 2000miles ago this included
Honed cylinders
New big end bearings
New piston rings
Water pump
1.7mm mls head gasket
Thermostat
Cam belt
Alternator belt
T25 turbo
2 1/2 stainless straight through to rear box 4'outlet
MBC (just had wastage welded up today)
11mm fuel pump with LDA ground and gov has been shimmed up by about 4-5mm could do with going more as fuel still gets cut off higher up the rev range
Front mount intercooler with xantia inlet manifold and took all the egr bits out of it. Relocated washer bottle using a surbaru I/C washer bottle.
Twin slimline fans
Oil catch tank
Clutch has done 3000 miles
Gti 6 interior
17inch wheels, with good tread all round
Been lowered about 60mm

![lol lol](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/legacy/lol.gif) you can see it in one of the photos Matt you muggins
I hate to say it bud, but £1000 is optimistic for a Dtub, especially on that mileage. It's horrible, but unfortunately, these cars just aren't worth the sum of their parts to all but a few people these days...

Easily worth a grand, the amount of work and money that would have to go into it for a rebuilt engine, t25, 11mm pump, front mount, exhaust and wheels. Saved someone a lot of bother.

I'm open to sensible offers, but I've put a lot of time into it. I know the mileage is high but engine etc is all new well 3000 miles old.

In parts yeah it may be worth that much, but at the end of the day it has a lime green bonnet and it won't be to many peoples tastes. Add in that black ph1's aren't the most common colour and people would be put off buying it with a view to fitting a black one.
Engine looks nice and clean, always a plus point, but engines are cheap these days. Reliability wise great but it's still just an XUD9TE. Nothing fancy.
Hate to say it but I agree the price is optimistic.
Fair play though, and GLWTS.
Oh and Matt, all the cool kids run their FMIC pipes that way. Where've you been all these years?

I'll leave that for Phil to divulge, but it had almost hald the mileage, and this was 3 years ago, when (I thought) these were worth a little more!

950 and was 118k miles?
Spec was 11mm head with internal mods -40-50 mm all round on '6shocks. Black masks and power flow ss turbo back. (Plus a few other lil bits)
I don't mind saying that on here and I guess ed doesnt
Was October 2010 though? So 2 and a bit

It was 112k IIRC? But yeah, it was hdi brakes, slimline fan not wired in, fmic not plumbed in but present including prettymuch all required pipework, induction, new top engine mount, t2, boost gauge, 11mm pump with heavily shimmed gov, powerflow exhaust turbo-back with no cat, rear beam wtih gti6 shocks, iirc stock front shocks with -40mm spax springs, hdi brakes up front, black masks, and a ph1 interior too, with the deeper bolsters

Olly it's your car so advertise it at whatever you want, just be prepared to drop your price when the offers come in. It's an OK price as a starting point but make sure you don't turn away sensible offers.

If I were you I would try and get a standard bonnet back on. I'd also advertise it places like the dturbo owners facebook page or whatever it is, and maybe eBay if you hear nothing after a few weeks.

306s are only worth so little because everyone is so obsessed with Mk4 shitboxes and everyone has this "french shit" and "chav" thing in their head...
They unfortunately are worth little anymore... However I've a funny feeling 306s are going to be coming back into demand when their bad image has gone...

Mhmm. Theres something about cars that I would rather buy and have the work done myself, instead of
Buying a ready modified car...
I would suggest you break it if you have time/space!
