you wasnt wiring it to the interior light was you? Its much much easier to wire it to the smaller map light.
Maybe you should consider investing in a multimeter!

edit: was it solid yellow or yellow and green. Earth is yellow and green not just yellow! What you really want is a big fat (hopefully live) red wire.

It's not the interior I was trying to wire it to a white square box just behind the main interior light as you look at it. Yeah maybe I should.

what type of mirror were you using ?
what colour wires did you use on the mirror ?
where did you try and wire it into?

oh thats your RCL receiver. With any luck, you havent fried it! BTW ever heard of fitting fuses?

You have to wire everything in your car through the starter motor if you stand half a chance of it working correctly. Preferably unfused, so it can keep current delivery no matter what...

I didn't have it fitted when it happened though. It f*cked the fuse to Iv changed it now. What's the next step from here?

see what youve damaged, replace and go and buy a multimeter.

The only damage Iv seen was a melted fuse and Iv replaced that. I'm gunna get one tomorrow

4 connects next to 7
The locking still works all fine. Just got to jump start the car now to see if everything else is fine

Youre connecting this to the RCL wiring because you dont have a rain sensor right?
