Ph1 immobiliser by pass

Is there a guid for this any where guys? i want to put my ph2 interior into my new ph1 which would mean removing the little key pad jobby ,

If there isnt a guide anyone care to explain? Smile

I don't like my key pad it annoys me but previously owned another 306 which was butchered an by passed

Don't know about you derv boys but I just have to unplug it when it's running apparently, but if battery gets disconnected then I have to plug it back in

Isn't there just some shit on the pump around the stop solenoid you can just smash off?

the immobilizer is connected to the stop solenoid on the pump yes, either you can just swap the pump and solenoid wiring over from your old car or if you cant be bothered you can disable the keypad immobilizer by replacing the 4 wire (immobilizer type) solenoid with a single wire actuator type (with live feed to ignition). i would recommend just swapping the pump over from the engine that matches the keypad though, as to change the solenoid you would either have to dismantle the pump or very carefully grind off the metal housing around the solenoid.

I swapping the engines so if i just straight swap the engines the key pad will be made redundant anyway?

Surly i shouldnt have to because im dapping a ph2 DT lump in that dosnt have the immobiliser key code any way,

So when i put the bosch on this lump (obv from a ph1) do i need to mod the stop solinoid on that before it will run?
