What's the best way to clean the intercooler and pipework after terminal turbo failure?
There's oil f*cking everywhere and about 1L sat in the lower pipes, had to catch a runaway engine when I fitted the new turbo as there's that much it's fuelling itself and smoking like a vietnamese monkey

I use a strong detergant called tech clean strong TFR leave to soak for a bit and then rinse thorouly
Or can get most out by lettin turbo blow intercooler pipework if you dont connect up to intake mani

apparently if you piss in your pipe work it lifts the oil quite nicely as the acid/alkali acts as a cleaning agent
