I have a ecu on a y reg im breaking

Is it an unlocked ecu my 306 is y reg and I believe the immobiliser is stopping the car from starting also has to be a 3 plug ecu

it isnt unlocked but i can supply all the parts needed for it to work bsi chip exc can get the code off the ecu exc for you if you want or if they can be unlocked via the unplug methord i can do this as its in a running car at the mo

Code off the ecu? I am new to hdi only had the car 5 weeks how can u unlock the ecu?

im sure on the hdi if you swap the ecu over you need one with the same code. im no good with the derv as im a perv man myself lol but im sure someone will confirm this. as for unlocking you can send the ecu off or i know on the petrol models you can unlock it by removeing the ecu from the car with it running. i would rather supply it as a full set tho key bsi ecu exc than do this
