MOT Fail Question
#1
My 306 failed on Sat, I was happy tho because it was 3 minor things.
I've fixed two but just wanted to double check my plan on the third:

It failed on the spare wheel carrier being insecure.
The adjuster is rusted solid and won't budge, it's soaking in WD but I don't hold out much hope.

My plan is to cut the adjuster and cage off and carry a can of flat mate in the boot.

Will this pass?

Yup, can't test what isn't fitted. But if the adjuster is rusted solid and won't budge, how is that insecure?!

because I popped the spare out to get access to replace the shocks - then it sat on my driveway for a couple of months while I twiddled my thumbs.

To be fair it was absolutely solid to undo, so I should have made sure it was properly free'd up back then when it still did move.

Ahh right so there's no spare wheel actually there?

If you can live without it just cut it off.Pretty sure you can still buy the bar/catch thingy from Peugeot

Cable tie it to the hook. All my ajusters have been the same. Cabletie or shoelace I used in the past
