Anyone got any special tips on how to remove that little pin that holds the fork assembly on? I have tried both sets of mole grips to no avail, it's in there solid!

Tried wd40 and knocking the pin inside to loosen it up and try and pull it out ?

Yeah, knocked it in slightly, but still wont come back out. May cut it off and buy a new arm..

Mine was solid and wouldn't move, so we got the Oxy out on it.. I used mole grips and twisted on other boxes though

you sure youre using a decent set of vice grips?
MTFU! clamp as tight as you possibly can on the pin then tip out with hammer, always works for me.

I did it proper tight, in the end it ripped the threads off the adjuster bolt! I replaced that bolt with a gearbox bolt (fitted perfectly) and got it even tighter and it just destroyed the teeth on the grips! Cheap rubbish.. I did have some good ones but they went missing a while back Sad

Apply small amounts of heat sensibly, then rapidly cool with plus gas in the target area.

Some of them don't want to come out full stop.
