If your wondering about the brembos you can get them behind cyclones using 20mm spacers I believe, not 100% on weather there just a case of bolt on but you will need new lines for them I'd go with braided

nice to know that you can get them behind 15's, il be after some 16" team dynamics pro race 1.2 for when i actually do the conversion, im on 15" tds at the moment and they look good, just think going up an inch would fill the arches alot better and i could get some monster discs under there to match 4 pot calipers Smile

Ooh a 2.1, now theres an Idea! You got any other nice parts you wouldnt miss?

Didn't say I won't miss it - just said I don't think I'll ever getting round to using it - the right amount of beer tokens may make me miss it a lot less though :whistling:

Only other things in there at the moment is a set of Ariannes but they'll be getting refurbed and painted eventually, 3 alpine V12 amps 3 other cheapo amps, a pair of focal 5' component speakers a powerflex lower engine mount and that's about it - well you did ask, lol

Not really sure what to expect power wise, but judging from the way it pulls through the gears id guess about 180ish bh, maybe more.
wheelspin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd sort of indicates that its got some serious grunt Big Grin

Very interesting this, especially running stock pump, guessing its been gov modded, but nothing else other than a tune, thats all ive had done so far and managed good figuires on a wayy smaller turbo than yours. would love to see power this beast makes

never been a fan of turbos over the gearbox unless its a big fecker like this Smile got me interested in this twin entry setup too.

would be interesting to see what this would be like with bigger pump.

Im contemplating a new build which has been done but never completed and run, 2.1 crank in a 1.9 block for more torque

In other words finishing off JP's build that he gave up on lol?

For measureing the belt, the way ive always done it (and believe me ive done it alot of times with all my different supercharger arrangements!) is ive got an old belt (longish one) thats cut in half, then you just wrap it aroundthe pulleys how you want, overlap them, and draw across the belt where they meet, then remove it again, lay it on the ground flat, and measure it on the floor, then just buy a gates belt 6pkxxx where xxx is the length in mm that you just measured....works everytime! You need to be more accurate than you think, the tensioner will only take up 5-10mm tops, anything more than that and itl be no good!

Yeah pretty much Darren, i just havent had the funds for the rods, ive got the crank etc just costs a fortune for custom rods Sad but would be very interesting to see what power it would make as my local derv specialist told me to do this years ago as its all about the torque

And got to say thats a BELTIN idea for measuring a belt Tongue

Hi mate, I am selling a set of 406 brembos with the Tarox G88 discs that are supposed to stop them squealing. Only done a few thousand miles on the pads and discs cos i wrote the car off.

Also you say its a twin entry turbo, I take it you mean a twin scroll?
Have you considered a quick spool valve as then youd have boost much lower in the rev range but loose nothing top end (ive spent a fair bit of time looking at twin scroll set ups)

Basically the valve sits between turbo and manifold and at low boost levels only lets the exhaust in one scroll of the turbo then its opperated by a boost actuator and opens a flap to let exhaust gas into both scrolls at high boost levels. Theyer not commonly used in this country but are over the pond, theyer about £150 IIRC but i reckon you could make one for £30

how much do you want for those calipers and discs mate? Il have a look into those valves, sounds like an interesting development

Plus Its very hard to be discreet with a 4inch straight thru 'zorst and turbo chatter, certainly turns heads driving through town haha

That boost valve would defy the point of building a properly matched manifold, could improve your current arrangement though.

Pugmarshall and I know a place that does dyno runs that could be incorporated into the midlands meet (separate thread) but I already went on the rollers earlier in the year. Still I'd turn up wherever just for the meet up.

i decided to do a tiny little video of the 306 running, forgive the shit quality, i filmed it on my phone which just couldnt handle how loud it is, but anyway its better than nothing until i get around to making a proper vidio of it.
