heagasket maybe ???

heagasket maybe ???

was driving my car tonight and well the temperature shot up to 110 degrees and no hot air through the blowers and the pipe from the radiator to the thermostat was solid. so drove her home let it cool down and had a look the water was still clear and hasnt lost any water and the oil was fine

any ideas on what's the problem

Could be, sounds like air lock. Bleed the system and drive it again, if it happens again then I would say HG.

That's would be my first stop.
Air locks are a bitch. Bane of my life, give it a bleed and then see how it is

to bleed it is it just the to bleed screws one to the right of the master cylinder and the other by the fuel filter housing

well the head gasket is gone lol anyone know where the best place to get a head gasket kit

Try and buy a Victor Reinz one, most decent motor factors should do them.

may well be a problem with the racoon filter. there has been a lot of them going recently Sad
