Has anyone replaced a front wing on their 306 before? Fun job?
I heard you have to replace the rivets because bolts prevent the bonnet from shutting properly? Unsure if this is true though.

Its a handy enough job, just drill the heads of the rivets off, then there's a couple of bolts to be taken out. You'll need to jack the car up to get under it to take two of the bolts out. Its handy if you have the new wing beside you, you'll see exactly where the bolts are.
As for replacing the rivets, probably best to replace them, but you could get away without putting anything in there if you're stuck.

Cheers mate, it was mainly the replacing the rivets I was worried about as I don't have a tool. If bolts are fine then they will do for now.

replaced mine a few times, never replaced the rivets - there would be enough space for a nut&bolt jobby if you really want to but mine hold fine..

There's only 1 rivet per wing and you don't 'need' to replace it
