Air getting into the pump. If you put a bit of clear pipe from the top of the filter housing to the pump you will probably see air bubbles in it while the engine is running. Basically means you have a leak somewhere. Squeeze the hand fuel primer until it goes hard then keep trying to squeeze it and you should hear hissing, look all around the fuel line, fuel filter, pump etc and find out where its leaking.

makes sense dan...i will have a look incase its not from the pump itself.thank's for the honesty tom lol.dan is sorting my bosch pump and injectors out anyway,so goodbye to the lucas -_-

its done well so far tom..running 24psi ,k14 turbo,decat and middle box f*cked off and just a cobra back box,lol.its going straight in the scrap pile...period.
