Surely you would need 2 fuel magnets for that kind of power? maybe even a wind up chatter mouth to give more torque?

Yeah... done and fitted, what a huge difference!!

Pull your arb end plates off:

If you strip the threads in the end plate (whoops) then don't worry, just t**t the bar out!

Once out, sit your shiny new hybrid arb with some crusty old end plates, grease it all up and refit:

Sounds easy right? urgh!

Getting the end plates off is a pain in the ass!

How much was the new arb if you don't mind me asking and where was it from?

Off the 6 forum. And there are normally around £160. Not many left now.

Told you it makes a difference at the Xmas meet.

The '6 forum sounds like a great place to get parts! £160! That's a lot!

Finally got round to fitting my adjustable drop links. Fitting them was easy, adjusting them correctly was straight forward and just took 30 mins or so, but the stripped thread on my wheel hub was annoying... thanks Atterz for a late night rescue of a spare hub - got it fitted with relative ease.

Also, seeing as we had a little bit of nice weather today, I thought I'd give the cars a bit of a wash:

So is the back a lot more rigid with new arb ?

the smokey old bus that sounds like a tractor...

I wouldn't say more "rigid" as it doesn't alter the spring rate on the back end... it certainly turns in better though.

What was involved in swapping the hubs over? may have to do mine!

I can't believe you have wind deflectors...think of the extra weight!
