SVO - What are you paying?
#1
I thought this might be a good idea so if anyone spots any good deals on veggie we can keep each other updated on where the cheapest deals are. Maybe worth stickying so it can be updated with new deals?

I'll go first, haven't tried very hard to find it cheap but Asda are doing 15 litre boxes of KTC sunflower oil for £15, been running on that for the last few weeks. Awkward to pour from the box but hey it's cheap Wink

Now you go.

All of the people saying that they have got their vegy from Bookers/Costco for 18 pounds per litre don't seem to realise they have to add the membership cost onto that as well. There is a bookers near me that I could sign up for but it's kinda pointless because of the aforementioned signup cost.

Depends on how much you use and what else you buy there.

I also go for big packs of Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Energy Drink and Noddle meals.
You can easily make the membership cost back in one or two trips.

tesco have there veg oil, which is rapeseed, at £10 for two 5litres tubs, which isnt in all stores, but most have the 3 litre tubs, and they at £3 rather than £4

AND if you spend more than £40, like buy 42litres of it, you get a £5 off next shop if you spend over £40. So buy another 42 litres couple days later at £37!

offer runs only till late August

Collect some mis-fuel from a local recovery garage. For example if you got misfuel that was 50/50 petrol/diesel you could make a blend that was 70/15/15 SVO/diesel/petrol which would work out at 70ppl for most of you.

theres no way in hell I would run that much petrol!

Im only on the svo as my wvo supplier is on hols who gets me almost pristine rapeseed wvo for 55p a litre!

10% max on petrol IMO, and then you should be running 2-stroke oil in the mix too to get the lubrication back that the petrol removes.
