boost gauge fitting

right ive been thinking, my boost gauge has always been piped in on the boost compensator line from the tmic to the compensator, but wont i be losing some form of pressure by doing this? ie causing the pump to boost less? :/
BBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSTTTT!!!!!!!!

If you really want to be fussy you could tap it straight into the manifold but as said it is fine where it is

that was my idea dan just wondering if it would affect the pressure sent to the boost compensator or not hmmm...
