how do you know if you got an mpi or an spi? there are induction kits for an mpi and an spi does it matter?

Yes it matters. Pretty sure yours is gonna be SPi on an M plate.........

Easy way to check though would be look for the injector(s).

look down behind the spark plugs, should see them down there attached to the fuel rail (metal pipe)

only seen spi on 1100 tu engined 106 xn's ???

I had an induction kit on my 1124cc SPI 106 when I was 17. I thought it was awessome, looking back, it sounded like a wet fart.

Single point or multi point injection. Smile

Carbs didn't meet emmisions regs, but mpi was too expensive for a cheap small Pug so spi is cheap so thats what older tu's have. Tongue

Reminds me of the time I accidently left the injector unplugged on the 106 then shit myself when it would not start.
