today Ive been playing with injectors again
as diesel bobs injectors have got real noisy after only 12 months of using

so Ive decided to buy a set of relatively low mileage 110 307 injectors which i picked up of ebay for £70 delivered
today was the grand fitting day but before i removed diesel bobs injectors i carried out a leak off test and again with the newer ones
to clean the ebay ones before fitting i soaked the tips in solvent then wire wooled the ends clean
fitted with new copper washers part no 198196 £7.15p from Peugeot for 4

so heres some info you might like to compare

cars original set 1 (062)
diesel bob set 2 (044)
ebay (307) set 3 (076)

set1
inj 1 = 150ml =8ml/m
inj 2 = 180ml =9ml/m
inj 3 = 165ml =8.25ml/m
inj 4 = 205ml =10.25ml/m

set 2
inj 1 = 200ml =10ml/m
inj 2 = 165ml =8.25ml/m
inj 3 = 220ml =11ml/m
inj 4 = 185ml =9.25ml/m

set 3
inj 1 = 170ml =8.5ml/m
inj 2 = 175ml =8.75ml/m
inj 3 = 175ml =8.75ml/m
inj 4 = 170ml =8.5ml/m

what Ive noticed so far is the snap throttle response seems quicker I'm wondering if this is because the rail pressure can be held and replenished quicker without so much leak off.
as for injector noise there is little to none compared to the diesel bob injectors

so my advice on recon injectors is don't bother you are wasting your money like i have!
a cheap low mileage set from a newer car with a part number 0445110076 would be more cost effective

ive tryed all three in my car
so no any of the three will fit and work
but only change them as a set, or for one of the same number

in this thread is a list of the partnumbers and what car they were fitted too
it might help if your sourcing second hand

Wouldn't 89k ones still be tappy, since 60k when they suppose to be replaced?
