got some fli 4.5" (i think) i want to stick in the door. had a look at the standard ones yesterday and there is that yellow plug into the standard speaker. how do i swap it for my flis? cut the yellow plug off then attach the wires?
on the flis its just a metal bracket shaped like a B - 2 small holes that wire just wraps around.
also the same for speakers on the parcel shelf?

You can pull the yellow connector apart iirc and inside there are spade connectors that will pull out with a bit of a tug, but i usually just cut the plug off and wrap it round the terminal on the speaker works fine

1... 4.5" wont fit. iirc its 6.25".
2.... cut blocks off and get some spade connectors.
