you have either got something catching the leverset and pinning the throttle wide open, the throttle arm is in the wrong position on the splines so its holding the throttle open or the max fuel scew is in too far would be my guesses for this Smile

Just whipped the pump back apart to check, the leverset is all in correct, nipple in the collar, put it all back together, turned fuel screw down a few turns from standard, and now i can get it to a steady idle but when trying to rev it makes very little difference and when.it does rev up a bit it takes a while to drop back to idle. Just to let you know its been changed from a lucas pump straight to this hybrid bosch all injector lines have been changed but its still running the lucas injectors..could this be a problem? Any help greatly appreciated

Lucas injectors are fine. Turn your max fuel down more... adjust the back of the pump too, the little cold start lever will probably need adjusting. If its idling steadily then the pump should be ok, but sounds as though it just needs conventional adjustment on the ouside stop screws.
