Oil catch tank
#1
I am selling my large oil catch tank, was used on my Dturbo.

It's pretty big, so should be better than Ebay ones with small connections.

Breather filter and pikey style hose connections included. In pretty good condition, just needs a good clean/polish if you're fussy.

I knew that was coming. But I ment a reason why it needs to catch oil would help Smile.

Dont quote me on this, but i think................its catch the oil that normally come through the oil breather and makes its way back into the inlet manii so , it catches the oil so it dosnt shit up the inlet, i think!!!

Correct. It also condenses hot oil vapour and collects it, leaving just the fumes to vent to the atmosphere. If you just run a breather filter from the hose it spits oil everywhere

OE ones tend to spit a little aswell, IIRC

Just helps the intake all run cleaner. The standard car has a check valve that should stop the oil passing but they rarely work properly and let oil through.

I have a K&N which I fitted just before FCS and noticed that there was oil in the ducting elbow just behind the battery and this should eliminate most of it. So if the other guy didn't get back to you then pm me payment details please, cheers.
