Hi, welcome to the for-sale thread for my shed. I'm only putting it up in case someone wants to buy it for spares and can offer me more than the scrap man, although it is MOTd until Feb and perfectly drivable, so could make a good stop-gap daily for someone. It's a 1.9td Citroen ZX Aura in red.
So, details, good bits first:
ALL of the electrics work (apart from the rear washer and rear windscreen heater maybe...? Been a while, can't remember exactly)
Bosch pump and injectors, will come with a partial seal refurb kit (rest of the kit has already been fitted to the pump)
T2 and no cat
Sunroof
Volcane alloys
MOT'd until February, taxed 'til end of July
Excellent brakes
Surprisingly comfy
Rear beam is in decent condition since i replaced it
Actually quite a good runner
Bits that could be good or bad depending on perspective:
Stock fuel-filter bypass - inline filter instead so no more air leaks.
Smells of chips
No n/s wing mirror glass
Smokes like hell when you plant it
Bad bits, won't go into too much detail, but i would say it's not worth repairing, hence selling for spares:
Large amount of rust, boot, shock towers, chassis rails, sunroof, etc
Steering wheel down to the foam
Front suspension knackered, all of it as far as i can tell, but i'm picky
Most of the os bodywork is looking pretty battered, ns, front and rear is mostly ok
Slightly high idle
hifty:
Expansion tank cracked and held together with cable ties
Blue smoke on idle, lift off and at high rpm, decent amount of blowby, although not blowing the dipstick
Maybe pressurising coolant a little, hard to tell with the cracked expansion tank
Clutch is on it's way out
