brother van.... again

Got a problem with my brothers berlingo van again. Basically it having problems starting and revs all over the spot. When he tries to set off it cuts out even if he applies loads of revs. My dad did put super unleaded in it a while back but done 300 plus miles after we topped it full of derv. Any ideas, it has the dw8 engine in.

Yeah but 300 miles ago shoukd have run it through by then presuming you emptied as much as you could ie fuel tank and lines

Drained as much as could, didnt just leave it

Hdi's really don't like running large amounts of petrol though, I would have drained as much as possible out the tank and lines and so on

Didnt think the dw8 was hdi but then again I just dont do cuddles lol

Wait wut? Its a dw8? I presumed that because you hadn't said anything it is an hdi

Either way not many diesels can cope with petrol going through

Sorted (i think), fuel filter was damaged and been bodged together and was sucking air in. garage has got it as i cant be arsed with it
