Don't lend your mum your car!

Soo.. cut a long story short, my mum managed to do this to my car :x

She shut my keys in the boot whilst filling up some jerrycans Sad

Question is, how much do people think it will cost to have repaired? I'm not too fussed about the damage to the roof, it's barely noticeable, but the bit on the boot obviously needs straightening, then the whole spoiler will need painting.

i still dont see how you lock the keys in a car - keys out, keys in boot, shut boot... WHEN do you lock the car with the boot still open ?!

I was just expecting a picture of the seats pushed right forwards, the AC on full blast, windscreen wipers on + radio tuned to radio 4.. or is that just my mum?

she didn't lock them in, they were on the roof (which I don't like anyway) and she went to shut the boot and they slipped into the gap.

Bollocks!

Can try knocking it out with the boot open, you might get away with it!

yeah I'd take it off, heat the paint a bit, then knock it straight against a flat surface

Looks like it should pull back, just make sure you heat it nicely and try not to crack the paint

My car was in teh way of my mums so she moved it and parked it INTO bank. I reversed it off. Bear in mind that this was a bloody slope and it wouldnt roll off. Had to use like 3k in reverse to get i off. All front bumper tabs snapped and removed 6 handfuls of grass and dirt from the splitter/bumper! ANNOYED
