Peugeot 306 XSI-6

This car left the factory as a 2.0 16v xsi (XU10J4 138bhp engine), then about 3 years ago
we fitted a GTI-6 engine (XU10J4RS 167bhp)/gearbox (6 speed)/rear beam/front and rear brakes/brake master cylinder

ENGINE
Standard GTI-6 167 bhp engine serviced regularly (every 3k) cam belt kit and water pump done 3 years ago when we fitted engine, doner car was bought from a friend who said it had Kent PT81's fitted, engine pulls well but as i don't 100% know that it is fitted with kent cams I will say its standard, car hasn't covered much mileage in that time 10K max also has a K&N filter fitted

TRANSMISSION
Standard GTI-6 6 speed gear box with lift reverse cable and GTI gear lever/knob, a new valeo clutch was fitted again this was when engine conversion was done so max 10K covered

BRAKES
We upgraded with some drilled and grooved all round (last year rears were replaced again for grooved) OMP pads, braided lines and dot 5 fluid

SUSPENSION
GTI-6 AVO adjustable shocks front and rear with PI -60mm front springs, poly bushed front arms all fitted new 3 years 10K max covered

WHEELS
Standard xsi 5 spoke lasers fitted with 195/55 tyres all with good tread

BODY
GTI-6 bumpers fully smoothed, phase 3 boot lid that has been smoothed and a popper fitted, smoothed filler caps, flushed wings to remove side repeaters (now in mirrors), new screen fitted 6 months, a smoothed grill in orange and a standard grill in black come with car although not fitted in the pics also a phase 3 spoiler in orange is in the boot, the boot space has a bulk pack of dynomat extreme fitted so ready for a boot install
ALARM
Cliford 950 with intelistart















front tyres have loads of tread rears are only about 2mm though




all 4 wheels have a chip or kurb rub






Inside there is more Orange







Boot all sound deadened


has some clear dials fitted which are orange when lights on P.S MOMO wheel has been sold and a std rallye wheel has been re fitted








NOW FOR THE NOT SO GOOD/BAD

Overspray on boot strut this may clean with thinners or a coat of matt/satin black



a few months ago the bonnet flew up and has dented the roof on a plus side a new screen has been fitted




Passenger rear arch has a scuff mark happened in a car park



Drivers side skirt has paint flacking



Front bumper has a few cracks




Where the bonnet flew up and was out of line when shut back down there were a few chips on both wings






also a chip on the boot opening



Also in the boot are the passenger dummy filler cap all smoothed and the phase 3 spoiler these just need bonding on, the smoothed grill is if buyer decides to smooth the bonnet once again




Private plate will be removed after bank holiday weekend and car will be taxed for 6 months it had an MOT test yesterday and failed on some minor things which will be rectified this week so there will be MOT until 9th JUNE 2013


I'm looking for an offer close to £950

Clearly a lot of money invested in that car. Will make a good bargain for someone. Not my cuppa tea, but good luck with the sale mate.
