Im looking at another alternative to the horrid underseal. I like to keep the 205's under carriage as good as i can. Currently its coated with red oxide and black hammerite which has served me well, 6 years infact.
Im not a fan of most underseal paints/sprays mainly as some never dry and alot contain water! Ive come across a product called "acf-50" which appears to be a clear drying liquid. Seems to tackle corrosion aswell as block it unlike unseal. My question is has anyone had any experience with it or similar products?

"Corrosion Block, the Facts!

I may have this wrong but it sounds like it's a liquid film that doesn't harden?

I use acf-50 on my motorbikes during winter and does an amazing job at keeping the salt from turning my bikes brown, its not a one use product though!
Majority of bikers who ride during winter use acf-50 then wash it off when the gritters dissapear.
I ride regular during winter so i have to re apply the stuff where the rain/puddles washes it away.

In short its fantastic stuff but not ideal for a car.

POR-15 is properly fussy about prep and has been known multiple times to fail and come off in sheets. I wouldn't use it.

Underneath of the Rallye, that got baremetalled 2 years ago and then stood for that time......Is just as good as the day I left it. Bilt Hamber zinc primer, with Bilt Hamber epoxy mastic over the top. I topped it off with flat finish 3M stone chip......Ain't nothing touching that.

I'd rather renew the original type of under body surface protection, I agree all that shultz type stuff is bloody horrible.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

ACF-50 is good but as said, needs to be washed off and reapplied after a while, it's like a gel version of WD40 in terms of what it does.

Dynax UB is what you're looking for I think.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.

From the factory, from what I have found getting through my Rallye, the underside was primed, then heavily stone chipped in places. In other places, it just appeared to be painted (boot floor, tunnel etc.....)

6 years isnt bad for the red oxide and black hammerite!

How often do you clean the underside? if you regularly check & clean the underside i would just suggest refreshing what you have already done.
