Yeah. My forearms are bigger than my biceps...mind thats not much to go on.
The special valve stem seal grips I have are bending i'm gripping so much. Pliers arent man enough.
My mini vicegrips just grip but leave .5mm movement left/right... Think patience is the tool here

Pretty sure mark got his out with just normal pliers. The 16v head is pretty tight for room but he managed it. I'm sure he will be along tomorrow to confirm.

They are total gits.
Heat gun gentle to warm them up and had a pair of pliers to catch hold of the seal tight and twist the seal clockwise and anti clockwise gently but firmly. Once seal has broken just start to pull up on it while working it left to right.
you'll need to clamp the head down or get someone to hold it as they're tight to the end.
