Is it a ph.1 or ph.2 rack? Either way, absolute bargain.

Ph2 mate  the xsara is a late 54 reg!

If more xsaras come in I also like a nice rack, particularly if well greased...

Finally got around to ripping the xsara apart some more. Now have this sat on a pallet at work waiting for me to take it home





Noticing a few differences already! exhaust manifold on the xsara has a band clamp fixing for the cat?



No problem if it wont fit a 306, i haz another spare gti6 motor (also at work)





Just need the welding finishing now and the rest of the underside prepped & painted

Incredibly handy! All the parts inc the axle, full xsara motor & suspension and spre gti6 engine & box cost me under £200

Just need to get silicone water pipes and an engine loom should have everything to put it back on the road then

Wow that white is bright, not sure I'd have gone for such a bold colour underneath. That said I reckon black would be too dark if you wanna show it off, red wouldn't necessarily look right on a red car and I'm not sure about silver.

Meh i can always repaint it if it doesnt suit it rally cars manage to pull it off so we will see!

Hopefully can get this back in Zakks workshop soon and work can re-commence! i'm itching to drive it now i have 99% of the parts to complete it.

The metal donor for the rallye has finally been dragged out of the countryside and into my workshop. Probably the best use for a ph2 dturbo

i like the phase 2 dturbos. Its what got me into these cars to start with. lol

Due to the massive amount of structural repairs this shell needs it is being put on the back burner for now to allow me to concentrate my efforts on the black one but watch this space! things will happen eventually.
