installing PP2000 and Lexia
#1
borrowed a copy of PP200/Lexia from a friend, plus the lead of course, he has used it successfully on my sisters Citroen C5 a few years ago, he hasn't anything current to use it on., so I know it work)ed)

trying to install it on an xp equipped tablet my landlord has, and I can get through the installation of lexia/pp200 but no icons appear anywhere to start the programmes?!

what is diagbox also?

As above, never used the Citroen side of it, only PP.

If you look through the folders downloaded to the PC, there should be one (presumably under Lexia) with a different file type of 'application' iirc which is for starting the program.

Normally once you have ran the installer it dumps a "Peugeot Planet Office" shortcut on the desktop, but if not can just manaully go to the install dir and run from there....

ISO is an image, either mount it or burn to a disc

the first picture is just the update file for the original software
you need to run that after you have run the main installer

if you do a search on youtube there are several walkthroughs on how to install this Wink

step by step in pictures (for chinese version although it installs the same)

linky

The default install location for the exe (LctPC.exe) is C:\APP\LctPC  I believe.
if you don't have this folder then you haven't installed it.

Yeah, one with the main software and another with updates.

Edit - actually not sure that was PP! Confused But either way, there should be a lot more than that on the disc!

Yes but it needs to be burned to DVD and posted. Too big for email at 3GB.

Is it just those 2 update files that you have? That's just one folder out of four that I have in the PP folder.

i have
Lexia update to V347.99
PP2000 update to V24.99
LEXIA_V345 iso's
PP2000_V22 iso's
DiagBox V5.02 iso's
+keys

if you want them you will need to burn the iso's or mount them to install them
i can get this all on 1 DVD

ahh awesome, I can use Dropbox at work, we have a reasonably quick connection too.

so once I copy the files to my pc, I need to run the installer programme and should be good to go?

they're about 800-900mb each
download the whole folder and then run the file(s) called InstPC.exe for pp2000 and instlex3.exe for lexia.
this will give you v22 (i think) and then you can run the upgrade you already have on disc.

thanks, will have a crack at it, having other issues too, can't get my laptop to tether to my phone so it'll have to be downloaded to the phone then transfered by cable.

The latest versins of Diagbox (which nobody seems to have) can be run on Windows 8/10. The version of Diagbox floating around can be installed on Windows 7.

I'm not sure about your copy but on mine, I got 2 discs, one with PP2000 and one with Diagbox. PP2000 is quicker but only works on Windows XP.

Diagbox is the one you want tbh, it's not really just one piece of software, it's a collection such as PP2000+others and it will load the software most relevant to the car you connect it to.
