Hey guys just joined but I have a bit of a problem with my 1.4 1995 306 , I bought this 3 months ago off an old guy it has done 43k which is a gem , but recently it has started to drive like a dog , idles around 1600k for about ten mins then settles but after a bit of careful Cleaning I got this settled so I though ,, so at the weekend I changed the plugs which were NGK's but when I got them out they were as black and sooty as a chimney , so new plugs in and now its decided it only wants to turn over when it wants , I have read that the coil packs are pants on these and just need some advice on the best ones to replace it with ? Plus it seems to be fitted with a Weber carb and I'm not sure it's meant to be in there ... Any advice welcome and ty in advance .
