hey folks this is my dear friend pug the diesel dog now I have had her for a good few years and done a good lot of miles but just before the mot ran out and she was taken off the road there was a grinding sound and knocking coming from the passanger side suspension leg which I have now rebuilt

she is a 1.9 turbo diesel meridian 5 door on a 98 plate while she is off the road I would like to modernized her with new LED head lights a later bumper with circular fog lights and basically tart her up.

so this is me and a big hello to all you pug lovers

Here's my 2000 hdi estate. Nearly 200k but still drives great. Love my pug. Actually been my favourite car. And also was the cheapest I've car I've ever bought 😀

Wasn't when I bought it. All trim cracked. Dent on back and bumper smashed. Bought as an emergency but really liked it. They're worth spending time and money if engine and box is good. You don't see many around either. When you planning on getting it on the road?

Welcome to both of you! (jj, I'm sure you made a Newbies thread when you first joined up, but there is every chance I missed it, so I say welcome to you now! Wink )

Alex - When you say you're upgrading to LED headlights, I assume you mean just a bulb upgrade? Will be genuinely interested to see how that turns out, I know some of the earlier LED bulbs had horrific light output, but LED technology has come a long way since then. As for the bumper, you just want a ph3 bumper to get the round fogs, and they do look a whole lot better than the ph2 bumpers.

Oh, and what was up with the wing?

The led halo lights are OK as sidelights but I've put led bulbs in my motorbike and can't see a thing at night. They are pretty bad to be honest.
