Or for the 20 seconds that it takes to do you might as well swap them over, if you have a few people in the back or a lot of stuff in the car it becomes a bit of a PITA getting out of the car with an allen key and opening the bonnet to readjust the lights while your driving.......................

Yeah, parts bin specials use the later style connectors... But I've also a feeling some part binners use twin optic frosties...

I had them, so yep Smile

And as others have said - it takes literally 30 seconds to swap over the connectors. Definitely worth it.

Thats because you havent put them back in properly, I just swap the top part of it over instead of the whole thing, much easyer. will get some pics

On the parts bin subject. my old 2.5 Gti6 had ph3 adjusters and twin optics in a ph2 head light, im guessing all ph2 head lights with a ph3 adjuster is a twin optic.

The ball popped into the clip, then I twisted it to lock it

The bit the twists out has a cover/plug over the top of it you can just pop that plug bit off and put the one from the ph2 on , i will get some pics today as its hard to explain.

I do it the way because i cant ever get the ball back in any sence or in the correct position

The bit that is in my hand simply pop them off both lights (ph2 lights & ph3 lights) then pop the ph2 ones onto the crystals, the ph2 on will be brown,

They are brown and a ph2 but yes. You only need to unclip the top half rather than take the whole thing out.

Finally got round to doin this yesterday. Hasn't worked. Both sets of my adjusters look exactly the same too. Tried swapping everything over and tryin every combination but hasn't worked.
They work cuz moved the switch without the adjusters in the light and they were moving. Dunno what to do?

They are all the same mate. No brown ones. Took a pic of one that was in the ph2 lights, and a pic of one of the ones out of the crystals
