Stereo Voltage Issue
#1
Any help here would be great!

Admittedly I have a XUD ZX but the wiring is very similar if not the same!

Trying to get my aftermarket head unit to work, 12v all the way to the point where I plug the adapter into the back of the stereo, then dropped to 3v.

I don't get it at all! Tried to plug the OEM stereo back in and the alarm LED flashes but it will not power on! I have no idea what I've done here! Never had a problem like this before! Angry

A bad wiring connection will typically show 12v and then drop off to nothing once there's some load applied.

I reckon I've broken a wire IMO. I did jam the headunit into place before testing it. Urgh, looks like I'll be chopping wires up :S
