Got myself a bargain this week. Did a bit of snipering on ebay on a complete HDi engine for the grand total of £1.20. Though as he helped me load it into the back of the 205 i gave him a fiver. Was only like 30mins away from me as well hence why i bid as i didn't really need it.

Just wondering if any of have got some decent bargains lately?

I couldn't even a HDi engine away free haha, that one seems expensive in comparison. Tongue

Haha but did you take any bits off the engine?

This is all complete, all auxiliary's and injection system plus turbo etc. Im happy with it any way lol

picked up a '60's 10ft caravan shell today for £150.
plan mobile 'office'/workspace/disco transport for it.

I guess they give them away if they don't have use of them, being in the right place at the right time you could strip and sell bits off the engines and make a few quid

HP pumps and rod sets used to fetch about £30 each, not much else sold though, people don't want ticky injectors or wobbly aux tensioners lol.
