Well this is my third 306, first diesel though, had 1.6 mk1 years ago and also had a GTI6 about 2 years ago now, good car but a little too rev happy for my driving style... At heart I am a Volvo man, had 3 T5's in the last couple of years, loved them but as always money gets in the way, got rid of my last T5 for my current runner, a (was) standard silver 2 door TurboD on a 98, 130k miles, very well looked after but has had the odd problem or two... Not many plans for it, just to make it alittle quicker but hopefully retain its miserly fuel consumption... Looking forward to learning about all things diesel...

Welcome to the forum! There are some guides on here about tuning the diesels, surprisingly you can give them a pretty heavy tune and they're still ridiculously good on fuel...even the 160bhp odd ones still manage to get 50+mpg I believe?
Get some pictures up when you get a chance!
