Broken exhaust.
#1
So, I have problem.

Exhaust on my car, has decided, that it want's to be in 2 pieces, rather than one. It was cracked for quite a long time, but today it broke. Place, where it has happened, is under the gas tank, where are S type bends. I just wanted to know, if driving without backbox, could harm fuel tank - heat, gases, etc.
And, no, there isn't sparks flying when I drive, because back part is still hovering 5cm/2in above ground. I can upload some pictures tomorrow.

but for now, this is approximate place where it broke.

My MOT is in spring, so exhaust will be properly sorted by that time. My main worry is that driving to garage where I will get my rear beam sorted, won't cause any serious issues?

I had HDi ehxuasts snap and fall off twice (old exhausts don't like salty sea air lol). One of which was off for over a month, don't drive like a twat and you're unlikely to get pulled. Made no difference at all, just made the beam black with soot lol.
