Citroen AX VTR

Right so as you're all slowly becoming aware I'm sure, I have a few cars!

I'll give a quick background on the importance of this car and why I'm keeping a terminally rotten Citroen around...

I had an old 106 1.5D, I never serviced it, I drove it everywhere like I stole it, absolutely ragged it basically.
Then one day on the M6 it went pop and exploded everywhere.

Then upon hearing about this, a few friends of mine pooled together and bought me this, which was awesome!

So as per me I first of all went rallying:

Then I took it drag racing, I had this thing for about 100ft!

Fitted a strut brace, for dem 1 litre powerz:

Fitted AX Forté rev counter dials to replace the massive clock:

Lowered it 50mm all round:

Then basically I bought my white 106 and it got left in the garage. My friend has been using it for a while but I decided I want it back and I want to weld the holes in the boot that I can put my arm through. It'll be a long project, but I am looking foeward to it!

I do like a good AX, would be pretty fun chucking them round! Whats the relation between this and the VTR bit in the title? I don't get it.

I forgot to add that bit - It's having the VTR engine out of my 106 because the HG has gone on the 1 litre, unsure how I missed that bit out!

Ah man i lote these in the vts styling with the arches. With VTR in the title are you planning on fitting a vtr engine then?

Nice one, thought that was the plan, should stick a VTS lump and then turbo it if you have the funds... Would be silly quick!

Genuinely didn't think it'd get this much attention!

It currently looks a little like this:

However, the GTI kit has been trial fitted with black electrical tape! Still need to find a GT front bumper and paint the rear bumper black to match...

Liking the look of it myself! Just need to get it back home and crack on....

And get rid of this:

I forgot to add - The entire rear end and front wings pretty much don't exist. It's terminal. So, I'm not giving up, and a good friend of mine is teaching me to weld using this car!
