Turbo fitment between 405\306
#1
Am i right in thinking that a 405 turbo will be a direct fit to a 306. Same exhaust elbow etc. Have found a good t2 on the gumtree. Will put a cheeky offer in if so.

Just to mention from my experience, and I know its a different car, but....a Xantia K14 had the exhaust elbow at a slightly different angle. Worked for me in the 206 but would of been facing the bulkhead a bit more on a 306.

My 2p.

See i fitted a k14 from a 205 directly onto one of my motors a while back and it was fine.

405 elbow and downpipes are different, 205-309-306 are the same, I.e drop a 306 1.9 dt into a 205 you would use a stock 205 dt downpipe (306 downpipe is a different curve)
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

So basically it wont fit cause of the angle of the dangle. Well exhaust elbow. Bollocks. Still searching for a t2 then.

cant really tell if thats a t2 from the pictures. i would assume so if it is off an early model and has the waste gate. Does it have the manifold as well?
