Non starting 306
#1
A friend has a 306 D-Turbo (DW10) it is not starting. It turns over but does not fire, sometimes it will start with enough cranking but then it can randomly cut out up the road and refuse to start up again.

The in tank pump is working ok and sending fuel to the filter housing.

I have read the fault codes and found this:
The first two are normally standard faults for DW10's, the fuel high pressure monitoring what is this most likely going to be:

I also read the other fault codes stored in the car, the airbag one is not relevant but would the key sync issue affect the immobiliser:

Some other readings, not sure if they help:

The key sync code is only referring to the remote unlock, that won't prevent it from starting. Fuel pressure is almost certainly the issue, i'd start with the fpr and work from there. Check out the link in my sig, should give you something to work from. Those other readings were taking without the engine turning over, need to take a picture of the same thing while cranking it over to try and start for it to be any use.

FPR naffed, FPS failed, HP pump shot or LP pump shot.

Basically could be anything in the fuel system causing a fault to be registered for low fuel pressure.

If it's a sudden failure, I'd put money on a broken LP fuel pump in the tank that's just supplying too low pressure for the HP pump.

Monitor the "measured fuel pressure" whilst attempting to start it...

Crank it and see what fuel pressure is achieved, make a video of it in PP2000 and then we can tell you what is broken.
