XUD Cabby £1000
#1
Up for sale is my XUD converted cabby.. Again. I love it to bits but need something with a roof rack and more boot space.

Pictures first!

Spec as follows:

XUD9 converted
10mm Bosch fuel pump
IHI RHF5 turbo
Custom 60mm straight through exhaust
lowered approx. 50mm on GTi spax 60mm springs
GTi rear beam lowered to match
braided brake lines
307 266mm brakes with Bluestuff NDX (required to clear the wide steels)
ATE super blue fluid
Cambelt and water pump changed 4,500 miles ago with O.E parts
405 spoiler
Tinted rear lights and black masks
Working electric roof
Cup holder
Heated front seats
MOT until May 2016
Mileage of the shell is around 83k, the engine (and clocks) is 151k

There's a couple of options with the wheels.. I have a set of 8jx16 steels that I was going to fit for the show season. They've required the 307 brakes to get enough clearance to fit, along with 5mm spacers on the front. The arches just cover the tyre on the rear, and the fronts fit and clear fine but would benefit from an arch roll to make sure the tread is covered. The other option would be cyclones and standard front brakes. I'd rather see it sold with the steels on as that's what I intended for the car, and I definitely won't be breaking it.

With the wide wheels fitted I'm looking for £1400, with the Cyclones and standard brakes, £1000. For £1500 I'll chuck the cyclones in as well with the appropriate wheel bolts. I'm aware the price is steep but it's one of a kind with a LOT of work done to get to this point, and in it's current state would make an awesome summer/show season car.

Viewing welcome, location SO50.

Whoever buys this, you're not my friend.

As Johnny knows I've wanted this ever since he got it, wish I was in a position to buy. It's awesome.

Just to stick my oar in, and those of you who know me know i don't do this unless i really mean it...

This car is a gem, the conversion has been done better than any other i've seen, the tuning works nicely, it just all works together. And the roof works, which is bloody rare! Top motor, absolute bargain price for what you're getting imo.

Also went up Prescott in it and just like Matt I was very impressed, the saying "like shit off a shovel" is very appropriate.

God this is a tempting swap for my 5dr HDI, especially now I have a trailer and dont need the boot space as much.

Nobody? At £1000 this really is cheap, I can't justify going any lower as I'd make that with ease breaking it.

Anyone interested in it if I made it standard?
