knocking from engine

knocking from engine

i have a knocking coming from my engine bay, i have been told its the bottom crank, but i dont think it is, only happens when i have been driving for about 30 mins, and its not always there, any idea,s brisy

which car/engine is it?
Maybe because the engine is getting up to full running temp and as metal heats up it expands slightly possibly causing a small amount of play but I ain't a mechanic so await more replies from those in the know!

Without seeing it then it is difficult to say.
If you want a good opinion I'd take it to Eddie's Autos in Beckford. 01386 882011. He will able to diagnose it
