IMO they look a bit silly with the side strips smoothed off. Certain smoothing looks good but if you go too far you just end up with a car that has no proper 'lines' or design to it.

they can do, yeah, but sometimes it can tie in with the rest of it. i normally prefer the strips left too, but i want to see what it looks like at the extreme

The problem is, even with smoothed bumpers you still have the line at the top of the front/back bumper where it meets the rest of the car (bootlid and grill/wings) which you cant smooth - unless you are getting silly with fibreglass! lol

Thats why I reckon smoothed bumpers with the sidestrips left on is the best idea Wink

more than likely lol
need to brush up on my welding (read: take a course and actually learn), save probably about 4 grand, then ill start haha

yep think i'm leaning towards agreeing with dan, smoothed in bumpers are a pain

Deffo too much. Just takes away the sweet lines that a 306 has 8-) Stick to smoothed bumpers and little bits like handles/indicators. Smile

indicators would have to be remounted somewhere? maybe on the wing mirrors?

I think Carlos attemp looks best with some smooth parts. But could be because it's a better shop and angle.
